Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 a 3 plums per person
- A little lemon thyme
- Real cream butter
- Lumps of cane sugar
- A splash of red fruit jenever
Mise en Place:
- Possibly serve with ice cream Cut the plums in 4 and remove the stone
Preparation method on the Qookingtable:
- Melt the butter
- Add the sugar cubes
- Place the plum slices on top and let them caramelise nicely
- Deglaze with red fruit gin
- Season with lemon thyme
- Let the sauce reduce to the desired thickness
Presentation:
- Place the plums nicely in a deep plate
- Dress the sauce over them
- If desired, finish with a scoop of ice cream of your choice
- And then a nice leaf of mint
